Kobo eReader Upgrade – Early Access
In advance of our wide release of the eReader firmware update starting the week of July 5th, we are making the upgrade available to users who register here for our Early Access program. Once you register and confirm your email, we will add you to our early access list. We will start sending out links to the to a wizard to walk you through the eReader upgrade process in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Note: the first release is for Canadian users (eReaders purchased at Chapters, Indigo, Coles, or Wal-Mart.) We are preparing additional updates for U.S. and Australian editions of the Kobo eReader and will email you as soon as they are ready.

I’m planning on buying my Kobo Reader today or tomorrow and I’m thrilled to see this upgrade however I’m going on vacation in a a couple of days and I want to make sure I will be able to take it with me fully upgraded, so I signed up for early access, I’m wondering if I can count on the upgrade in the next three days. I’m in Canada.

I purchased two ereaders from the chapters indigo website not in store. I don’t get out very often because of a spinal injury so I would appreciate a downloadable upgrade to be able to use on my computer rather than have to go to a store to get the down load for my e reader. thank you so very much.

I am looking forward to getting the upgrade. Hope it is soon (am waiting to read a book, in which the print is so small I can’t read it even with glasses … go figure.
I received the email for the early access for the new firmware update. I haven’t had a chance to upgrade it yet however as I was just going to do it now i realize I no longer have that email. Would it be possible to have the firmware re emailed to me again.
